Alankar Travels Ltd is a consolidated air tickets retailer. We were
established in 1978. We specialise in air tickets, to India, Pakistan, Africa, USA and Canada and other world wide destinations.
Also our facilities extend to travel insurance services in conjunction with flight purchases. Our multi-lingual staff
will be pleased to help you with enquiries over the phone or via email.
The agency is situated on Leicester’s
prestigious Golden Mile. Melton Rd is a high street with many Indian restaurants, gold jewellery, and Asian dress shops.
Our
opening times are Monday to Friday 10.00am to 6.00pm and Saturdays 10.00am to 1.00pm. |

1980: Birth of Alankar
Our business was founded in 1980. Originally the office was
located next to Alankar Sarees but has now moved to its Melton Road office.
1990s: Growth
of the business
With the talent of the sole proprietor Mr Niranjan 'Raj' Rajyaguru response was immediately overwhelming.
A huge majority of customers were relatives living in the UK, buying flight tickets to visit their loved ones in India.
Today
Starting from one man in one office, we now have a team of 6 employees and
continue to grow.
